Buying a property is one of the largest financial commitments you will probably make in your life, so it’s extremely important that you ensure relevant insurance is in place to protect the property and or it’s contents. If you are buying using a mortgage loan, then it’s usually compulsory for the building to have adequate cover in place as part of the agreement with the mortgage provider. We discuss the importance of each type of cover, for you to be make an informed decision on how to proceed.

Initial Consultation – We can utilise this opportunity to acquaint yourself with us and to gain a comprehensive understanding of your situation, goals, and aspirations.

“Fact-find” meeting – this will be a more formal meeting to obtain detailed personal information and relevant documents required to apply for a mortgage agreement in principle, with the most suitable mortgage lender for your circumstances.

After further research, a mortgage agreement in principle will be arranged and a follow-up call to address any queries that you may have. We can also guide you on how to proceed next with finding a suitable property and what to expect from 3rd parties such as estate agents and solicitors.

Once your offer has been accepted for the property you desire, we have another meeting to go through the recommendations for your mortgage needs before submitting the full application to the mortgage lender.

We manage the application by liaising with the underwriters and get the valuation booked on the property, for mortgage assessment purposes. Once this has been satisfied, the formal mortgage offer is then issued. It is at this point our fee payment would be taken.

We will continue to offer support with various aspects such as liaising with estate agents and solicitors whilst the purchase transaction progresses. We will also arrange the relevant insurances required to protect you and your property.

After the completion of your house purchase, we remain available to address any questions or concerns, fostering a long-term relationship aimed at continual support and assistance.
